First Dates SU2C special to feature Anthea Turner and Alexandra Burke

Broadcasting legend Anthea Turner and chart-topping singer Alexandra Burke are the first celebrity names revealed for a First Dates Celerbrity Special for SU2C. Maître d’ Fred Sirieix and his team welcome hopeful single people from across the country and, for one night only, some familiar faces from the world of show business who are also looking for love.

At the unique restaurant in which every diner is on a real blind date, some of the daters will discover that they’ve been matched with a celebrity singleton also looking to potentially meet ‘The One’ in this special edition airing Monday 12 October at 9pm on Channel 4.

The First Dates special will form part of a wider season of Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) programming on Channel 4 including a brand new celebrity edition of Gogglebox for SU2C. Gogglebox guests include Jamie Dornan and Nick Frost, Boy George with Geri Horner (nee Halliwell) and Marilyn.

Plus Miranda Hart takes to the sofa with the two mothers in her life – onscreen mother Patricia Hodge and her real mother Diana, and Lee Mack gets cosy with his onscreen family including Bobby Ball.

Programming also includes special editions of Chatty Man with guests including Sue Perkins, Jonathan Ross, Thomas Turgoose and Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing, and The Last Leg guests TBA).
