Gogglebox stars mobbed by fans during 'surreal' night out

 This week Gogglebox stars Sandy and Sandra were mobbed by fans  during a 'surreal' night out at a North London outdoor cinema. 

 

The stars of the BAFTA winning series were ready to take their seats for a showing of the cult classic movie Grease, when to their surprise, the entire audience pulled out Gogglebox masks.

 

Sandy said 'it was really surreal to be walking down the cinema aisle seeing all the Gogglebox faces looking back at us. I loved it' while Sandra was hoping to use hers on a regular basis 'It was so much fun to see all the Gogglebox masks, I loved my own so much and wish I could live in it!'

 

Today it was officially announced that the latest instalment of Channel 4’s BAFTA award winning series, Gogglebox, returns to Channel 4 with a 12 part series and in the prime time slot of 9pm on Friday 26th September.


Now in its fourth series Gogglebox is back with the same adored and highly-opinionated British households, as well as a few new additions which will be announced later in the series.

 

From Saturday night entertainment juggernauts to the week’s big soap storylines, from hard hitting documentary series to gritty drama, the Gogglebox households will once again deliver sharp, insightful, passionate and sometimes emotional critiques of the week’s popular and topical TV shows, sparking debates and giving the audience the chance to share those ‘we said that!’ moments. Their reviews could also be interrupted by breaking news stories and controversial TV events – subjects the outspoken households won’t be shying away from.
