Jump into the world of Made in Chelsea as E4 launches Made in 360

Category: News Release

E4 today launches two new videos for its BAFTA award-winning structured-reality series, Made in Chelsea. Produced by Monkey (an NBCUniversal International Studios company), Made in 360, featuring cast members from the show, utilises cutting edge 360 degree video capture technology to create a truly immersive experience for fans of the top-rated show.

Made in 360, which allows viewers never-before-seen virtual access to Binky Felstead’s and Mark-Francis Vandelli’s properties, uses the latest in digital technology to immerse audiences right at the heart of the show. Viewers will be able to stand in the centre of the houses, in amongst the action, and can listen to the various conversations while taking in their surroundings, including personal items and photographs.

Viewers can look around by dragging their finger or mouse across the video or by holding up their phone and moving and turning to look all around them. It can also be experienced in conjunction with Google Cardboard devices, to add a further sense of immersion.

Made in 360 is on YouTube and the Made in Chelsea website. The E4 series is commissioned by Head of Formats Dom Bird and Commissioning Editor Jilly Pearce and executive produced by Monkey’s Sarah Dillistone, Kelly Lynn and David Granger. Made in 360 was commissioned by Tom Shreeve, Online Producer for All 4.

David Granger, MD of Monkey comments: “Monkey works with All 4 as a great creative partner, and we’re always striving to deliver MIC fans ever more high quality entertainment from the world of Chelsea.  Our additional digital activity continues to be enormously successful and we’re delighted to introduce this first ever truly immersive reality experience.”

Made in Chelsea returns to E4 on Monday 11 April.
