Made in Chelsea cast discuss the EU Referendum for new E4 trail

Category: News Release

As the country prepares to cast their votes in the upcoming EU Referendum, the Made in Chelsea cast have weighed in with their thoughts ahead of the 23rd June, urging viewers to vote and have their voice heard.

Binky, Jamie, Mark-Francis and Toff got together to discuss the key issues surrounding the EU referendum debate: Will we still compete in Eurovision? Will Jamie be able to get hold of a good Pinot Noir? Is Brexit edible?

In the scripted Referendum in Chelsea, Jamie is under the impression that Brexit is a delicious mix of Frosties and KitKat whilst Binky is at least aware it involves a falling out between two mates called Boris and David. After a quick lesson from Toff and an Alexander McQueen based analogy from Mark, they grasp the significance of the referendum and how important their vote will be.

Dan Brooke, Channel 4’s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer said: “In 2015 we turned off E4 on Election Day and this year the cast of E4's top show are adding to the referendum debate in a quintessentially Made in Chelsea way - but above all reminding viewers to make their vote count on the 23rd."

A shorter version of Referendum in Chelsea will air on E4 for the first time today. The full length trail will also appear across the Channel 4 website and E4’s social media platforms.
