Made in Chelsea stars to face Million Pound Drop

Category: News Release

The denizens of Chelsea are not known to suffer too much from money worries, but when you’re playing a game for a million pounds, and beneficiaries are charities dear to your heart, it’s a different matter. Spencer, Binky and Lucy from Made in Chelsea don’t normally baulk at chucking a few quid around, but when you’re dealing with massive wads of £50 notes that might be about to disappear through a trapdoor if you get a question wrong, it’s less easy to be so sanguine.

The gang, appearing alongside a Made in Chelsea superfan, are raising money for Battersea Dogs Home, Pup Aid, and another, as yet unconfirmed, charity in a special episode of the quiz show, going out next Friday (12th September) on Channel 4 at 8pm.

But before then, we’re joined by The Human Dictionary and The Beard. Tomorrow evening (5th December) Joe Wilkinson and Susie Dent will join forces to raise as much money as possible for Stand Up to Cancer. With Susie’s encyclopaedic brain, and Joe’s… um… Joe’s beard, could they be the ones to clean up in the name of a good cause?

The show will be followed by the first of three episodes of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, featuring both Dent and Wilkinson.
