Two specialists in the field of Equality and Diversity, Taiba Yasseen and Laurie Trott, helped to manage the Make Bradford British project and facilitate the group's experience.

Taiba has extensive experience and an interesting background combining Law, the Arts, Equalities and Voluntary and Community Sector. Taiba has over 20 years experience of managing community organisations, mainly within the field of equality and diversity, notably as Chief Executive of Rotherham Ethnic Minority Alliance. Currently, Taiba is a Director of Same Difference, a specialist training provider using the Arts, a playwright and a consultant in community regeneration, engagement, arts and research.

Laurie  is a diversity expert who has over 40 years of extensive race and community cohesion experience. A former Met police officer, Laurie initiated a ground-breaking race relations team at the Met and was attached to the Home Office to develop a specialist support Unit for community race relations. More recently Laurie founded Equalibra, which advises and trains major organizations on diversity and equality.
