The Morning Line live from Frankel's stable

Category: News Release

Channel 4 has secured two exclusive Morning Line settings, with this Saturday’s programme (September 26th) to showcase Banstead Manor Stud – home to the mighty Frankel. This is followed by the Dubai Future Champion’s Day Morning Line on Saturday, October 10th to be broadcast from the stables of Godolphin trainer - Charlie Appleby.

Nick Luck will present Saturday’s Morning Line from the heart of Banstead Manor Stud. Viewers will be treated to an informative insight into the early morning duties from one of the country’s most prestigious Stud Farm coupled with exclusive access to Frankel – the world’s greatest racehorse with a market value of over £100 million.   Emma Spencer will complement The Morning Line coverage, live from Newmarket Racecourse with guests on hand to preview an outstanding racecard that includes two Group One races and the Cambridgeshire.

Sophie Veats, Producer of The Morning Line, explains: “We’re thrilled and extremely grateful to Juddmonte for providing us with unrivalled access to Banstead Manor Stud and their stallions.

“Our viewers will be able to get up close and personal with equine superstars Frankel, Kingman, Oasis Dream and Dansili. The double broadcast really pulls together the narrative of flat racing and how all roads lead to British Champion’s Day.”
