Scarlett Moffatt signs up for two new shows on Channel 4

Scarlett Moffatt and Alan Carr are to join forces co-hosting a brand new Channel 4 entertainment show. The as yet untitled pilot will be recorded in 2017.
The nation's new sweetheart Scarlett, who found fame on Channel 4's Gogglebox will also take on the role made famous by Davina McCall and front a new daytime series of the 90's cult classic Streetmate for Channel 4.Shy and retiring singletons will get a helping hand as Scarlett scours streets and pounds pavements to find the loveless a date in towns and cities across the UK. Streetmate returned for a one off special during Channel 4's Stand Up to Cancer campaign in October.
Scarlett Moffatt said, "I can't believe Channel 4 have asked me to present this iconic dating show. I remember watching Davina on Streetmate when I was younger and thinking females can present entertainment shows too, I want to do that when I'm older. It's such a fun show and it's two of my favourite things to do, chat to randomers and a love story.”

Streetmate was commissioned by David Sayer for Channel 4 and will be made by Tiger Aspect Productions (An Endemol Shine company.) The creator of the Streetmate format is Gabe Sachs. The Alan & Scarlett pilot was ordered by entertainment commissioning editor Sarah Lazenby.
