Mads is really likeable, chatty and engaging, a perfect match for her new best friend Josie.

Mads missed both her offers when she got her A-Level results so Leicester wasn’t really where she expected to go. However, when she got the place through clearing she went to visit with her Mum and really liked it. They got one of the cleaning staff to show them around and decided she was happy to go to Leicester.

Mads went to a mixed private boarding school in Oxford which she liked. She had to learn to live with 15 other girls which was a challenge but felt it was really good for her to get to know lots of different types of people.

Mads’s Dad is an accountant and Mum is a sex therapist.

Mads does not know anyone going to Leicester and she is worried about making friends with people she has stuff in common with. How will her first year at university compare to her expectations?
