What are you not interested in?
Small projects that don't have a 'must watch' quality.

Most of the department's commissions fall within our publisehd tariffs but in some cases we do coproductions which have a smaller investment, and in other cases we work above the tariffs if the ambition of an idea demands a higher budget.
What is the biggest creative challenge your team or genre faces?
Developing on screen talent.
What advice would you give to new talent companies keen to connect with your team?
Don't just think 'what is the programme about?'. Ask yourselves, 'what happens in this programme?'. It's one of the key ways we analyse ideas. We commission the ideas which promise something revealing, engaging and memorable.
