This Friday, a host of stars from television, fashion, music and film will come together for Channel 4 and Cancer Research UK’s Stand Up To Cancer – a joint national fundraising campaign that has included a fortnight of inspirational programming which culminates on Friday from 7pm in one raucous night of fundraising hosted by Davina McCall, Alan Carr and Dr Christian Jessen.

As part of the build-up to the night, C4 has two new clips showcasing just some of the action that will take place on Friday.

In the first hilarious clip The IT Crowd star and acclaimed director Richard Ayoade is seen casting for a high-calibre actor to take the title role in Andy Murray: The Movie(visit page for embeds) with Andy on board to oversee his choices. Stars as diverse as Pharrell Williams and Sir Terry Wogan have a pop at playing the international tennis hero while Britney Spears turns up to play the part of Andy’s girlfriend, Kim Sears. Other famous faces known to have auditioned include Gordon Ramsay, Michael Sheen, Ed Sheeran, Rory McIIroy, and Cesc Fàbregas.

In the second clip, Derren Brown meets Martin Freeman and Amanda Abbington (visit page for embeds) and treats the stunned pair to his very special brand of illusion. Is Martin acting on his own free will or has Derren put a sort of spell on him?

Meanwhile, please welcome the first stars of Gogglebox: Celebrity Special, Kathy Burke and Paul O’Grady. (visit page for embeds)

In this first look clip, we see the friends having a tipple just like their favourite Gogglebox couple.

We also see the pair discussing their love of Downton Abbey and the perils of long gloves on camera.

Taylor Swift and Jamie Oliver (visit page for embeds) have a bake off in our second clip, and the gloves are off.

When Oliver tries to explain to Taylor that he is known as “the Naked Chef” , Taylor is quick to tell him that “I’m not doing this if you’re going to do this naked! I don’t want you to be naked ever…”

Stand Up To Cancer is live on Channel 4 this Friday 17th October from 7pm.
