Tattoo Fixers On Holiday launches with brand new fixer
Category: News Release
Summer is set to sizzle, as E4’s Tattoo Fixers on Holiday returns, with brand new Fixer Glen joining tattooists Jay, Sketch, Alice and receptionist Paisley as they ink-over tattoo fails on their annual stay in the sun, it was announced today.
Glen, 30 an artist from Surrey has been tattooing for five years, and specialises in bold, realistic tattoos, taking influence from America and European art. Practising initially on himself, Glen secured an apprenticeship with a local tattoo studio in Surrey, and from there spent time in a number of different studios across the country, honing and evolving his skill.
Glen also spent a year in Belgium, taking up a guest spot at a studio where he worked alongside world class artists.
On returning to Surrey Glen opened up his own studio – ‘Ladies and Gentlemen Tattoo’ where he has been working ever since.
Glen joins fellow artists Jay, Sketch, Alice and receptionist Paisley as they set-up shop in the sunny Mediterranean tackling tacky tatts and ill-judged inkings. With the summer season fast approaching and holidays abroad proving the root cause of many an inking shame, our fixers are on hand to mend their shocking ink and transform them into walking works of art.
Glen Carloss said: “I’m massively excited to join the Tattoo Fixers family. I’m looking forward to being put out of my comfort zone, and to continue evolving as an artist. You learn a lot when you’re pushed, and I definitely think this will push me.”
Studio Lambert’s Creative Director Tim Harcourt said: “A talented artist with tonnes of charm, we are all thrilled that Glen has joined Tattoo Fixers. It’s also very exciting that the team is returning to the summer sun of the Med - the source of so many inking disasters.”
Glen also joins the team for the next series of Tattoo Fixers which is due to air in the Autumn.
Tattoo Fixers on Holiday is produced by Studio Lambert and was commissioned by Dom Bird, Head of Formats for Channel 4, and executive produced by Matt J. Smith and Tim Harcourt for Studio Lambert.
