The Undateables: Ali bio
Category: News ReleaseTwenty-two-year-old Essex boy Ali is the life and soul of the party. He has a close group of friends, a packed social life and is a regular on the club scene. Away from the dance floor he likes to keep in shape and goes to the gym 4 times a week.
Ali has Achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism. At 4 foot 2 inches tall he’s often the centre of attention on a night out, especially with women, but he’s never had a girlfriend and only ever been on one date.
He longs to say ‘those three special words, I love you’ to someone for the very first time, and feels when he does meet his dream girl he has a lot of love to give. Used to being a showman and putting on a front when he’s out in the clubs, Ali is terrified of being with a girl alone on a date and showing the real him “I’ll get very nervous, I’ll get goose-bumps and start stuttering”.
Ali must confront his fears and go on only his second ever date when he’s matched with fellow fitness enthusiast twenty-one-year old Kirsty. Blonde, beautiful and with blue eyes, she’s Ali’s perfect type, but will his nerves ruin his chances of a successful date?
