The Undateables: Christina bio

Christina believes that food is the way to a man’s heart and has a perfect, romantic, candlelit dinner planned to impress the man of her dreams. She loves to cook fish, spaghetti bolognaise and toad in the hole in her West London home.

 

She dreams of being a traditional homemaker and wife, and she’s in a hurry. Now twenty-nine Christina is determined to meet her future husband in the next 8 months “I want to find a man before my 30th birthday. I want him inside the cake and he pops out and says happy birthday, I’m your boyfriend”.

 

Family is a huge part of Christina’s life and she’s very close to her mum Nicky and sister Roxanne. Christina has Down’s Syndrome.   She’s happy and fulfilled in most areas of her life, but when it comes to love and relationships she can feel she’s missing out, especially as Roxanne is her younger sister and has two kids of her own ‘she hates the fact that I have found someone and I have had children and I am her baby sister so she wants to be in that position…’ ‘I think there is a big something missing in her life, there is a major hole in there and it needs filling.’ (Roxanne)

 

With only months to go before her thirtieth birthday, will Cupid strike when Christina meets Matty for a romantic date at a bird sanctuary?
