The Undateables to return to Channel 4

Channel 4 has commissioned betty to make another three series of The Undateables and a Christmas special.
It follows on from the success of series six in January which averaged a consolidated audience of 2.49 million viewers and a 8.83% share over its five week run.
Series seven (5x60), is currently in production and will transmit in the autumn. The order also includes a 1 x 60 Christmas special, series eight (4x60) and series nine (5x60).
The award winning and critically acclaimed show follows people living with a disability and those with a variety of conditions through the highs and lows of finding love. Each series also includes catch ups to see how previous daters’ love lives have progressed.
The Undateables was ordered by Channel 4’s commissioning editor for factual entertainment, Lucy Leveugle. Series seven is executive produced by Ian Carre and series eight will be executive produced by Ian Carre and Jess Orr for betty.
