Very British Problems returns to Channel 4 for second series

Category: News Release

Following on from the success of the first series in summer 2015, Channel 4 commissioning editor for Factual Entertainment, Rich Evans has ordered a brand new 3x60 series as well as a one off festive special of Very British Problems from Alaska TV.

Based on the Twitter feed of the same name, founded by Rob Temple, which now has over one million followers, the second series will once again see well known British celebrities (and some outsiders looking in) providing their own unique takes on those everyday phenomena that characterise Britishness.

Speaking on the re-commission, Rich Evans said ‘Alaska did a brilliant job of booking a dream line-up and turning around a thoroughly delightful series that viewers loved in double-quick time, so this is a well-deserved recommission.”

Chris Fouracre added ‘It's brilliant to have been re-commissioned by the Channel so soon after transmission of Series 1. It's a real treat to discover how universally bonkers we all through the experiences of such a funny line up of amazing British talent. Most of them are coming back for the new Series plus some genuinely great new names’.
