The VW Prankster Revealed

Acclaimed character comedian and untameable prankster Simon Brodkin shocked the world’s media by crashing VW’s latest car launch in Geneva on Tuesday.

In his latest stunt, Brodkin, in character, stormed the stage wielding a ‘cheat box’ in reference to the car company’s emissions scandal. Astounded Volkswagen board member Juergen Stackmann who was delivering the VW presentation at the time, was left floundering as the comedian crawled under the car to show the media how the device could ‘fix’ the problem. 

The moment, alongside other audacious stunts, will form part of a brand new series of original shorts for All 4 later in the year. Simon has signed an exclusive deal with All 4 and will be a key face on the platform.

Simon is a talented character comedian who is known for his irreverent and fearless pranks. His high profile pranks have hit the headlines multiple times but he is arguably best known for jumping on stage and showering Sepp Blatter with dollar bills on stage during the now infamous media conference.

Brodkin also invaded the Pyramid Stage for Kanye West’s Glastonbury performance rapping with him in front of the crowd and snuck in to warm up with Manchester United’s squad ahead of a Premier League fixture.
