War Horse: The Real Story

Here are the best programmes on Channel 4 for week 10, Saturday 3rd - Friday 9th March.

Ten is the basis of the decimal system. It is believed most cultures have adopted the decimal system because it is also the number of fingers humans have. Hence Norfolk uses a duodecimal system.

Incidentally, did you know there are 10 types of people in the world? Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Part three of the compelling, award-winning US thriller starring Claire Danes and Damian Lewis. The CIA is buzzing with excitement about information gleaned from Carrie's asset Lynne; the girlfriend of Prince Farid of Saudi Arabia. Lynne videotaped a meeting between Farid and Abu Nazir, after which Farid immediately travelled to the United States. Carrie believes he did so in order to fund a terrorist attack inside the country and she hopes to trace the money to a specific al-Qaeda operative - perhaps even Brody himself.

Vicki's always wanted children and they turned to IVF with Vicki's eggs and donor sperm. There's a 30-year age gap between Ines (30) and Paul Newell (60), who have been together for seven years and are about to have their third child. And Sheree (20) and Danny (19) have been together for 18 months. She got pregnant accidentally and he has given up the chance of going to college to take a job in order to bring up their baby.

In this series British consulates have opened their doors to TV cameras for the first time, giving unique access to consulates in some of Spain's busiest resorts. In this episode staff on the Costa Blanca deal with a crisis among the tourists and the ex-pat community around the resort town of Benidorm. A forest fire threatens the ex-pat enclave of Portman, sparking a mass evacuation, while vice consul Liz has to help the grieving family of a woman knocked over and killed by a lorry in Benidorm.
