Channel 4 announces the return of revolutionary chef Yotam Ottolenghi to More4 in a new series Ottolenghi’s Mediterranean Island Feast.

Across the 4x60’ series Yotam will travel around the beautiful Mediterranean islands of Sardinia, Corsica, Mallorca and Crete tasting mouth-watering local dishes and creating feasts with his own unique twist.  Yotam will also explore how invasions and trading from East and West throughout history have shaped the extraordinarily unique food served on these islands today.

With a passion to innovate and challenge traditional cooking conventions, throughout the series Yotam will meet cutting edge chefs and local food heroes picking up new and exciting flavours to blend with traditional and timeless classics that will inspire him to create delicious meals.

Ottolenghi’s Mediterranean Island Feast was commissioned by Channel 4 Head of Features, Gill Wilson.  The series will be produced by Keo Films and with executive producer Paula Trafford.  The series will air in autumn 2013 on More4.

Of the commission Gill Wilson said: “We are delighted to have Ottolenghi back for a second series, for both his breathtaking recipes, and unique insight into the people of the region.”
