Introduction
Producers are responsible for compliance with Health and Safety legislation on their productions. Before execution of the commissioning agreement, producers must produce to Channel 4 drafts of appropriate Health and Safety policies and operational procedures in connection with the production of the content. These may also include addressing the mitigation of risks to the production arising from COVID-19.
Producers must read both the Channel 4 COVID-19 Filming Guidelines and the PACT/joint broadcaster document “TV Production Guidance: Living with COVID” which will assist you in drafting your production Health and Safety policies and operational procedures, with respect to mitigating the potential impact on production from COVID-19.
