Channel 4 is committed to providing a streaming service that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, capability or technology.
At Channel 4, we routinely check experiences across our platforms against the latest WCAG guidelines. We work closely with the Digital Accessibility Centre (DAC) to review and audit screens. We also seek to improve usability through user feedback and research.
We respond positively to feedback regarding the accessibility of any of our services. We aim to conform to the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C's) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), to AA level, wherever possible.

It is no longer possible to control Chromecast devices using your Google Home. You can still use the Channel 4 app on IOS and Android or from channel4.com to cast and control your Chromecast.

Yes, the Channel 4 app is available on Chromecast with Google TV devices. To download the app onto your TV device you can search for Channel 4 in the Play Store and click install, or click this link.
Unfortunately you cannot currently cast directly from the Channel 4 mobile app or website, to the Chromecast with Google TV devices, but we are working on a solution to fix this as soon we can. You can still cast directly from the Channel 4 mobile app or website to 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Chromecast pucks/dongle.

We ask for your payment details upfront to verify you are a UK card holder and ensure there is no interruption of service after your free trial ends. You will not be charged during your free trial. Simply cancel Channel 4+ before your free trial is due to end and you will not be charged.

Channel 4+ will only exclude adverts shown within the on demand video player (with the exception of our Watch Live service) and does not extend to display adverts on the website.

You can cancel your Channel 4+ Apple subscription in the device Settings. Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad > Tap your name > Tap subscriptions > Tap Cancel the Channel 4 subscription.
Alternatively you can cancel in the App Store or go to https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. You cannot currently cancel your Channel 4+ subscription from the Channel 4 app.

After the initial 7 day free trial, Channel 4+ costs just £3.99 a month. There is an annual plan available via the iOS App and Channel4.com, which costs £39.99. (12 months for the price of 10!)

The Channel 4+ functionality allows you to watch the majority of content without ads and/or other commercial messages. Please be aware that for licensing reasons some content will not be subject to the enhanced Channel 4+ functionality, and may still contain ads, other commercial messages and or promotional trails for other programmes.

Using a Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card, or you can also sign up in our iOS App. Please note we only accept cards registered to a UK address.
