To check your completed downloads on Android devices, you should visit the Downloaded section of the Downloads page.
On iPad/iPhone, visit Downloads and you should find what is downloading or what you have downloaded.

On iOS, in order to download a programme, you must be connected to the internet via Wi-Fi. On Android, in order to download a programme, you can be connected to the internet via Wi-Fi, or you can download while using your 3G/4G connection. Once programmes have been downloaded, you can watch them offline or overseas.

If you pause while downloading a programme you can restart by selecting the download status button with the downward arrow on it.
You can no longer pause a download on iPhone or iPad.

We have tried to make as much of our content available for download as possible. Unfortunately, Channel 4 does not always have the same rights for all of our programmes. Some programmes aren’t available for download but all those that are will be clearly marked with the download symbol.

The download service is available for iOS and Android supported devices only. If you are able to get the app on your iOS or Android device then you will be able to download content - provided you have enough space on your device, you are signed in and have access to WiFi.
In addition, iPhone and iPad now support downloading over 3G/4G.

If you are watching a downloaded episode on your Android device and you initiate a cast session, then it will be the streamed version of the episode which will play out on the Google Cast device. Casting a downloaded episode will be subject to the streamed version having the appropriate rights for play back on Goggle Chromecast.

No, you do not need to be signed in to watch a downloaded programme.

You must have registered with Channel 4 and be signed in to your account to download programmes.
To create an account go to www.channel4.com/register.

Channel 4 no longer has notifications on download expiry. When a download has expired, if you are online then you can tap the 'redownload' icon and it will download the item again for another 30 days if available.
