You can watch all the latest catch up, free box sets, plus a huge library of recent, classic and online shows including Shorts. It is not currently possible to cast the Watch Live service nor Clips and Extras. Channel 4 must acquire specific rights for some programmes in order to show these on a particular device, therefore some shows may not be available to cast on Google Chromecast.

On many of our platforms, when coming to the end of a programme either a new episode or recommended episode will begin to play automatically.
On our iOS and Android apps, in the Live TV section, when you are signed in, you can toggle to turn autoplaying content off within the ‘On Now’ view.
For on-demand programming, we do not currently offer the ability to turn auto-playing content off other than by closing the player (in browser) or by tapping back to the content you were watching (mobile apps). However, we are looking into improving this experience as soon as possible.

Here's how to start using Google Chromecast:
1. Plug in your Google Chromecast device into your HDTV and power up. Then visit Google Chromecast.com/setup
2. Connect to the same wi-fi network as your Google Chromecast
3. Once connected to the wi-fi network, you will see the Cast button appear in the bottom right of the player and the top right of the Chrome browser.
4. Click the cast button then click the name of the Google Chromecast where you wish to Cast.
5. Once you have selected your Google Chromecast, allow it to connect. Once connected the cast icon will display in connected state and you are able to Cast videos to your HDTV once you begin playback of a video. -
Yes. You'll be able to resume playback from where you left off in an episode, and this works across devices too so if you switch from your PC to your iPhone, for example, your resume point will be remembered. Similarly if you press pause, you will be able to resume when you select that episode again.

To disconnect from Google Chromecast, simply click the Cast button in the browser bar or in the player and then select STOP.

We have a curated signed collection, available on all streaming platforms, containing some of our most popular shows with British Sign Language interpretation. This is available from the homepage on most platforms or by going to channel4.com/signed, or searching the word 'signed' within the platform.
Signed programmes or episodes feature a BSL icon as part of their main image.
We are adding new titles to this collection all the time, as well as looking to improve the navigation to these programmes. -
We are working hard to make our full catalogue of content available on the Channel 4 app on Google TV, but there are some specific films and shows that aren’t yet available. You can watch our full content catalogue on our website, mobile apps and other Smart TV platforms.
