Paralympics Paris 2024

The excitement is starting to mount here at 4viewers so we'll be updating this page with information around what's coming up as we head toward the Paris 2024 Paralympics.

The Opening Ceremony - Wednesday 28 August 2024 from 6.30pm

Clare Balding presents as the Paralympic Games arrive in Paris for the first time. Across the next 11 days of incredible sporting action, more than 4000 athletes will compete across 549 events in 22 sports, aiming to fulfil their competitive dreams and take home some hardware from the French capital. The Games kick off with a unique opening ceremony which for the first time will be held outside the stadium. Take a front seat as the athletes parade up the iconic Avenue des Champs-Elysees to the Place de la Concorde in front of an expected crowd of 65,000 spectators.

The Opening Ceremony, will be broadcast live from Paris on Channel 4 with subtitles and simulcast on 4seven and Channel 4 streaming with audio description, BSL and subtitles.  

The Last Leg in Paris

Adam Hills, Alex Brooker and Josh Widdicombe will be presenting live from Paris throughout the Games to give their unique take on the days events, all with their usual comedic twist. Theyll also be joined by a variety of guests and a live studio audience.

The Last Leg returns to Channel 4 on Wednesday 28 August at 10.30pm with subtitles and simulcast on 4seven and Channel 4 Streaming with BSL live signing.
