On many of our platforms, when coming to the end of a programme either a new episode or recommended episode will begin to play automatically.
On our iOS and Android apps, in the Live TV section, when you are signed in, you can toggle to turn autoplaying content off within the ‘On Now’ view.
For on-demand programming, we do not currently offer the ability to turn auto-playing content off other than by closing the player (in browser) or by tapping back to the content you were watching (mobile apps). However, we are looking into improving this experience as soon as possible.

Subtitles for on-demand content are supported on the Channel 4 Streaming website, the iPhone and iPad app, the Android app, YouView, Playstation, Xbox, Roku, Amazon Fire, Freeview Play, Freely, Samsung devices and on our content available on Sky and Virgin. Subtitles are supported on live content for all platforms with the exception of Samsung and XBox.
Subtitles are also available on downloads on the iOS and Android apps.
99.9% of the content on the C4 Streaming service has the subtitles feature.

Audio Description is currently supported on the Channel 4 Streaming website, the iOS app, the Android app, Roku and tvOS.
We are working to enable Audio Description on more Smart TV platforms.
Across the C4 Streaming platforms which support Audio Description, around 40% of our programme hours have this access service, and we’re adding new titles all the time.

We have a curated signed collection, available on all streaming platforms, containing some of our most popular shows with British Sign Language interpretation. This is available from the homepage on most platforms or by going to channel4.com/signed, or searching the word 'signed' within the platform.
Signed programmes or episodes feature a BSL icon as part of their main image.
We are adding new titles to this collection all the time, as well as looking to improve the navigation to these programmes.
